TENDER LOVING CARE FOR YOUR PRODUCT

At The Luggage Collection, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with long lasting premium quality luggage from Briefcases to Backpacks, Suitcases to Duffles and hundreds of other travel accessories. Here are the best ways to keep your luggage and accessories looking new.

SUEDE

  • TO CLEAN
    • Treat with a suede brush to keep consistent nap on the surface. To prevent color transfer onto your Luggage, avoid exposure to dark fabrics. To clean your Luggage, we recommend taking it to a suede specialist.

POLYCARBONATE

  • TO CLEAN
    • Clean your bag’s exterior shell and interior nylon lining using a soft, damp cloth, warm water, and mild soap. It’ll scrub right up. If the shell of your suitcase picks up a mark that soap and water can’t handle, try using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to buff it away.
  • TO STORE
    • When you’re not traveling, slip the canvas dust bag over your suitcase before storing. If you have suitcases in multiple sizes, you can nest them inside each other to save space: Just unzip the left side of the larger suitcase and set the smaller one inside—with the wheels all facing the same direction—then zip the larger bag closed.

ALUMINUM

  • TO CLEAN
    • You can clean your bag’s exterior and interior using a soft damp cloth and mild soap. Keep in mind that a Hardshell suitcase is like an open passport—you can see everywhere it’s been (and that’s a good thing). So don’t fuss over every scuff and scratch on your bag—each mark has a story behind it. If you remove a sticker from your suitcase and a little adhesive stays behind, use an alcohol-based wipe to wipe the surface clean.
  • TO STORE
    • Keep the dust bag and slip it back over your suitcase when you’re not traveling. Store in a cool, well-ventilated place with low humidity, if you can.

LEATHER

  • TO CLEAN
    • Spot clean with damp cloth. To prevent color transfer onto Luggage, avoid exposure to dark fabrics.

NYLON

  • TO CLEAN
    • Spot clean with damp cloth and gentle soap.

TWEED

  • TO CLEAN
    • Spot clean with damp cloth and gentle soap. Avoid abrasive surfaces as snagging, pilling and tearing will occur.
